A hallmark of my teaching is connecting students with professionals beyond the classroom. Through an extensive network of designers, engineers, strategists, researchers, and industry leaders, I regularly invite guest speakers and critics into my courses. These interactions provide students with exposure to professional practice, interdisciplinary perspectives, real-world challenges, and opportunities to build meaningful industry connections. Some company representatives have visited from Sabre, reShift, American Airlines, as well as various other UX /design professionals and subject matter experts.
Industry guest speakers and critics have spoken to my students and visited my class. We are currently expanding our relationship with American Airlines through exploring other collaboration opportunities, such as research or a class project.
